The College was founded by virtue of Law no.91/1975 on establishing Police Academy. It aims at advancing all training and applied studies as well as to improve officers' performance in all police, legal and administrative aspects.
Training and Development College delivers training to different officers of various majors. Throughout this process, officers can acquire more knowledge and skills. Officers' attitude is also changed during training which contributes to improve their performance.
The College carries out its mandate through preparing, planning, and observing training activities delivered to police officers. Moreover, it supervises central training institutes and training centers in security directorates and general administrations.
